Staffing Coordinator
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for filling open positions through every step of the organization's hiring process. Recruit, screen, hiring and orientate potential employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as liaison between company and potential employees.
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites;Develops and maintains a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants as well as, Coordinate college recruiting initiatives, internship placement program and Job Fairs.
- Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
- Posts openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.
- Reviews incoming resumes and applications, doing the initial applicant screening to evaluate if they meet the position requirements. Distribution and tracking of application to appropriate program.
- Responsible for the primary source verification including education, training, and peer referencing for licensed staff for provider privileging. Initial and on-going.
- Conducts and maintains all reference and background checks
- Track all applicants, manage the approval process and interact with managers.
- Other assignments and duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
- Meets with managers to develop specific recruiting plans.
- Directs the efforts of employment agencies and search firms, including negotiating and controlling employment-related fees, if needed.
- Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
- Arranges travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary.
- Develops and conducts training programs for managers with a goal of improving recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reducing turnover.
- Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents hiring and statistics.
- Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.
- Participates in development of annual recruiting budget.
- Onboarding – ensure new hire forms are filled out timely and accurately, set employee up with participating vendors, primary contact for new employees as they orient themselves with the agency
- Coordinate necessary training for all new hires and current staff and track in database
- Employee communications and moral initiatives
- Help to build wellness program as part of the Wellness committee
- File and maintain organization in the HR department
