2018 marks the eighth season of Camp MOE, a successful summer day camp where all children can develop friendship, leadership, self-awareness, and respect for others. Reflecting LARC’s mission of Community for All, Camp MOE’s doors are open to children, both with and without disabilities, throughout Northwest Connecticut.

Unfortunately, there continues to be significant decrease in state funding of day care expenses for low income families.  If such funds are not replaced - at least in part through private donations - many local economically disadvantaged children will not experience the educational, recreational, and psycho-social benefits of our camp.
