Hello and hope this note finds you in good health, happy spirits and warm.

NEW PROGRAM: Saturday Afternoon at the Movies

Robin Pedone, Recreation Coordinator, has started Teen Saturday afternoon at the moves.  The program runs from 1:45-4:00pm.  Folks can enjoy an afternoon movie & pop corn here at 66East Albert Street, Torrington.  

We need a volunteer to help with setting up chairs for the movie, popping popcorn and serving refreshments, and cleaning up. We anticipate 4-10 people to participate.

Robin will be on site at all times.

2/9, 2/23, 3/8, 3/22, 4/5, 4/19/ 5/5, 5/17 and 5/31.

Bowling at Sky Top Lanes is scheduled to begin each Wednesday from March 26^th through June 11, 2008.  We bowl from 4:45PM-6:30PM once a week.  We need volunteers to keep score for each of the 7 lanes.   Score keeping instructions provided.  Robin will be on site at all times.

2^nd Annual Spring Wine Tasting is planned for Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Torrington Elks Lodge No. 372. The event attracted nearly 5550 attendees last year.  We need volunteers to distribute posters throughout the region, sell tickets, sell sponsorships and staff various parts of the event.
